Google Panda has gotten yet another refresh this weekend. You’re probably wondering what we’re referring to, as you may not have noticed any differences just yet. That’s only because the rollout of the latest update is happening fairly slowly. Google says it will likely take months for the update to roll out in its entirety. Therefore, even though the Panda algorithm is a site-wide update, some of your Web pages will need time to see the change.

Ten months ago, we had our last official Panda update with Panda 4.1, making that the 28th update. Few webmasters have noted this update due to the slow roll out. According to Google, this is affecting about 2-3% of English language queries.

Of course, with a new update means good and bad news for some. It gives those who were penalized in the past updates a change to gain some traction back if they corrected their faults. However it could also cause you to take a hit if you were not making the right changes, the changes will appear in your organic rankings over time as the full update continues to be implemented.

This is atypical of your usual Google update as usually the past Panda updates would significantly affect rankings and your Google traffic more rapidly, now it will occur over time. Check out the Panda Updates listed out by Search Engine Land:
